JOB DESCRIPTION

Atlis is looking for a self-driven, enthusiastic, Electronics Technician to support the hardware engineering team with board reworks and assembly, testing, & lab equipment. You will assist in assembling hardware systems for prototypes and you will be responsible for making key contributions to some of AMV's most mission critical programs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Read and understand electronic schematics, PCB layouts, and component bills-of-materials (BOMs) to identify location and orientation of components on printed circuit board assemblies

• Assemble, modify, test, calibrate and/or repair various type of PCB, cable assemblies, modules, and components (electrical or mechanical) to support engineering development activities utilizing a variety of tools and test equipment including but not limited to soldering irons, SMT Pick and Place machine, hydraulic crimper

• Carryout basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting on malfunctioning assemblies or product assemblies to identify issues

• Coordinate the calibration, documentation, logging and build out of test equipment, test jigs and maintain good record keeping

• Prepare and analyze reports to identify product failure trends and service ability issues

• Assist in setup and teardown of equipment for large scale or system-level tests

•Strong electrical and mechanical experience and analytical problem-solving skills are preferred

•Strong judgement and problem solving skills to determine most cost effective repair/resolution to minimize customer downtime

IDEALLY, YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH:
  • 3+ years' experience as a electronics or assembly technician
  • Familiarity with data acquisition systems
  • Ability to write summary reports
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Ability to work independently and/or collaboratively as part of a team
  • PCB processing equipment such as Pick and Place machines
  • Cable harness assemblies
